Old sketch of an rp character, Falengar. Worgen/werewuff/troll fella (in my defense, made before worgen became a playable race) who's a rather cranky old shaman that needs to cut loose now and then.
Think its pretty much settled he's gonna get a friend's warlock character tossed at him for the purposes of porn. LOL

Why doesn't this have comments? Its a beautiful fluid motion still. :( Wonderful. I have a werewolf character I want to draw, but I am rusty as fudge with dynamic perspectives and its really hard to keep drawing to get better when I have seen how much I have backslid. Oh, its more painful than knowing I suck and then trying to get good, without getting good, going back to sucking and then trying to get good again. Anyways, that was confusing to type. Beautiful picture, I'm going to look at the rest of your gallery for inspiration. I LOVE action shots and I want to specialize in interesting perspectives or timed shots. :)
Haha, well its a very old sketch and its pretty rough so I'm not surprised. :) Thank you though!
Foreshortening and dynamic movement are a bitch for sure - I like doing little super rough warm up gestures before I try to pin down a tough pose, to get the feeling of the movement first. I find it helps me figure out the rest if I get something that feels like the movement first, if that makes sense!

Yes, that makes sense. I love movement, but I'm not qute there yet. I look at other people's art and my figures don't have too much fluidity really. They've got curves, but the "Action" of those curves hasn't quite been figured out yet. I'm not convinced with my art, yet, lol. I'll get there though. I know practice DOES really make perfect. If any artist has drawing talent, they can draw ANYTHING. It just takes practice. I have a fur artist that just draws animals and anthros and she whines and claims she can't draw people. Yes, she can, she just doesn't want to try. I din't think I could draw people, I just need someplace to start and some good practice. BOOM, I could draw people AND anthros XD An artist can do anything, he just needs to practice. SO, I know I can do anything, its just a matter of dealing with myself as I learn and suck at it until I get good, first, LOL.
Gorgeous! The pose, perspective, detail, all so beautiful! I would love to see this finished if this is any indication of your talents! I have a hard time with anthro myself, the only good ones I have done was the first anthro of my gryphon/thing fursona and the one I am working on now of my maned wolf and her charecter sheet. Cartoony she is but gryphon was semi realism. Nothing like this though! Absolutely gorgeous!!!
