Yeah I feel you there, I had the day off from work because my boss said the higher ups refused to pay me double overtime. I went to visit my grandfathers grave and met a WW2 vet that was placing coins on his stone. So we went out to lunch a talked for what I think was a good three hours. By the end of it he was in tears and couldn't stop saying how much he misses my grandfather, and how wonderful it was that I was a Seabee as well. I would be lying if I said he didn't have me in tears myself. So all and all I think this is the best Veterans Day I could have asked for.
