While he wasn't available to do another ref sheet Slug briefly had open commissions for quick sketches and he's done such a great job with the unibeeplant form over the years that I jumped at the chance to get a headshot I've wanted for awhile that shows off some of the muzzle design.


For those that don't know the muzzle is a series of petals that look like a muzzle when furled closed (example). This does mean my unibeeplant doesn't have any teeth so relies on ingesting food whole, like a bird, or absorbing nutrients through his plant aspects. Part of why I'd like to get an updated ref sheet some day is I spent a good part of late summer figuring out and understanding many of the biological aspects of the form.
