jesus this took forever to make!

This is my newest character, Jaku. He is no wicker beast, but his own species. I don't have a name for them, but they have a canine base, and then are a mixture of different species here and there

-Each of these species has a partner - A key and a lock. One will hold a key somewhere on their person / body, while the other has the lock.
-The spikes, eyes, and pawpads all show the 'locked' places that require the key. It is their own universe(s) put together, locked away for them alone, and very rarely shown to others' eyes.
-It is very common for the two partners to have similar markings and colors. Always the same galaxy colors.
-Ears are always thick and slanted back, but vary in length.
-Always some set kind of horns.
-Tongue is almost always forked.
-Species does not have assigned genders, but simply choose what they see themselves as / pick their 'role'.
-Lock and Key do not have to be around neck on a string, but it does have to be on the bod at all times.
-There is no such thing as 'switching' their 'lock and key'.
