This is a WIP sculpt of Rime's foot (sans claws), currently in the making by Creature-Cave of DA, the same sculptor of the giant chicken foot: http://creature-cave.deviantart.com.....uest-350640401 :) This part will be cast in latex, then the claws added after, since they'll be made of a different (harder) material. And here you can see both feet together: http://sta.sh/011rj7sxsx9z She'll also be making realistic osprey feet for my hubby, as soon as she's finished with my feet. :)

I forwarded your question on to her, and she replied, "the 'seam' is the distinction between the tendons and the bone, but obviously, it's harder to replicate that on a human leg." I asked if she can either make it curve more with the leg, so it's not such a straight line, or else smooth it over a bit, since it looked a bit unnatural being that straight.
