On the other hand, they symbolize the busyness, the intoxication of living in the moment, the madness night sometimes brings upon us... and then, on the other, just the quietness of sleep. The covered up windows and dimmed lights in all of the apartments that no longer are aware of the going ons of this world. Perhaps on some, shadows projected from the television screen dancing on the curtains."
