My two male characters, Jake (left) and Darwin (right), this is a concept that I came up with for my novel that I am writing. In the end they both die but Jake is seen without wings due to his fear of crossing over he thinks that he is guilty and refuses to go into the light until his soul becomes exhausted and nearly vanishes from any existence. Darwin carries him into the light mainly cause he is too weak to walk on his own.
