In honor of the victims of this terrible atrocity. As France stood with us in the wake of 9/11, so do we stand with France to mourn and remember the lives cut tragically short tonight.

Nothing saddens me more than pointless bloodshedding of innocent people. I jawdropped when I heard the news, I can't even begin to imagine the horror that so many families and friends had to go through while just watching a simply game of football.
Kudos to the police for escorting everyone in the middle of the field, it definately helped not to trigger any other bombs and save countless lives!!

As horrendous as these attacks are i think that we should go about bussiness as usuall and stop rebroadcasting the atrocious acts commited against our fellow man and woman. These terrorist groups seek to instill an unnessecary fear and worry and rely on those who witness and rebroadcast that fear to spread there message of intolerance and ignorance.
Its sad that these things happen, and we should mourn the loss of life. But let us not publicize these acts of terrorism.
I had no idea that this had happened until i clicked on these images of the iconic eiffle tower and had to google headlines relating to paris.
Furthermore. The news media should stop speculating on the individual or group affiliations with terrorist establishments and aiding their publicity. Of course they want to take responsibility.
We all need to be more involved with our local communities and oust those who wish us harm.

Intelligence agencies have confirmed that the attack was ISIS-sponsored. It's not speculation at this point. And while I understand where you're coming from, these broadcasts have not created fear--if anything, they have given the world a reason to be stronger together, to unite in the face of a clear and present threat to our freedoms and way of life.
I’m really concerned that this event is going to cause another resurgence of religious violence and mosque burnings in France, like the last terrorist attack resulted in. :(
Also, I wish there was more discussion of this terrorist attack in combination with the two other attacks ISIS committed simultaneously with the Paris one yesterday. Namely, bombing a Shia mosque in Baghdad while it was in service and bombing a Shia neighborhood in Lebanon.
