More quickie images, mostly since the one challenge image I had set aside for this month is already done (but it's time dependent, so for now, enjoy a bunch of other stuff). Had this idea inspired by the Japanese/Chinese idea of "red strings of fate", which is supposed to be an invisible thread that connects you to your destined soulmate. I prefer to play to the Greek idea of Fates, or also known as the Moirae. Vita Sanguinence (Life of Blood) is thus my Life Fate (Clotho) and represented by a red robe and the unsettling capacity to cry blood. Since her robes are red, and sort of a fabric, then figured why they can't be strings? Granted, the reason why she doesn't is probably the part that makes her really, really unsettling (outside of the lack of a face, and hands). She's missing a body technically below her ribcage, though she perceives it as existing. I extended it down to her toosh here because it adds a better shape.
Really just wanted a very graceful Vita image, and managed to create a sort of angelic, haunting image. Probably one of the most darling of the Shadow Mew out there, since most look evil and she's just sweet. The other Fate from this set would earn it for being solid black, though she's still a shadow of a dead Mew. Toss up on that one. I'm not sure what technical definition of her is though when it comes to Fakemon. Presumably she's a Mew or a Mewtwo, some fake Mew clone something something regardless. Still like drawing her. Not a fan of drawing angel wings. Kept those more to a graphic-style. Composition and color work great regardless.

Red Strings Ascent
Like a breath from the great mother
Gifts are they to be seen by
Transcending even that of the fates
Is the angelic herald a flicker of doom?
Thumping beats thine heart in echos
Mere moments that follow the height gained
Wings beat once and then twice
Bonded to these strings of sublime
Always fated to wander the sanctity
Even he shall do nothing but look upon it
Below and yet beyond
Humble and but bold
Entangled and embraced
Secretly sacred and yet simpering
Secrets known by the pattern weaver
As benevolence meets honor
Faith meets justice
Embedded within one
Bound to her by traits that stand
Like a faith of simply being
Just let her soar...
Another striking image of yours, I have to say it is easy to see something in each. That's how you know an image is well done n_n. Words cannot describe how it makes me feel, but the poem may have done that for me instead. This title is called 'Ascent as seen Kujiku' originally. I would look at it through the eyes of an OC of mine of the Pokemon/Pokemorph realm. Or if you prefer 'Ascent upon White wings in red'. There you are ^^

Comment poetry is an art, and it makes me surprised and leaves me blushing every instance I see it. Granted, you're the only person who I know does it. What is the response from other people you might do this with? Of course, I'm wondering now what your love life is like since some people are totally into a pure romantic. Still intensely flattered.
