With the nights gettin' colder an cold & flu reason knockin' at'cher door... time once more fer those ages-old remedies ta help ya feel better on those chilly nights... so whipped up a big ol' batch'a chicken & rice soup ta nom on while yer bedridden watchin' yer shows heh
(sheesh! once ya get caught wearin' granny's jammies ya start really gettin' inta the role! lol)
heh all kiddin' aside... here ya go...
ingredients:
1 cup of white rice
1 1/2 cups of water
1 large box of chicken broth
1 small white onion
3 carrots
4 celery stalks
1/2 bag of pearl onions
2 large cans of white&dark meat chicken
nature's seasonings
garlic powder
parsley flakes
directions: fix soup, serve in bowl, crawl back under the covers an watch tv till ya feel better... heh... enjoy :)

Thanks Wuff! *hugsya* well... ta me those kinda things I never judged on the side'a 'either/or' but rather more as a blendin'a both!... All of nature's naturally-grown remedies prepared by someone that loves ya an truly wants ya ta get better... which (was always in my mind anyways) was what helped 'infused' their cookin' with the healin' energies that made ya feel better... which was/is why those ol' culinary remedies will always be the most cherished ta us {:)
