Newest shirt for my lucky 13th anniversary
Since I'm such a huge Halloween fan, it makes sense that I'm also a huge fan of Walt Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction. I've visited three so far, hoping to get the others in someday. ^_^
This year marks our 13th wedding anniversary, and my hubby had the idea of doing both US Haunted Mansions in one weekend. (Actually, he wanted to do them both IN ONE DAY, but we'd be staying at the second one since that pace is deadly.)
To mark the occasion, we'll be decorating our bodies with these festive shrouds, letting everyone know that we'll be hitchhiking Ghost to Ghost!

As far as rides go at the Magic Kingdom, The Haunted Mansion is my second favorite. I just went to Disney World for the 1st time in September, and had gone many times to Disney Land when I was young, so, now I've seen it in both parks. The ride is the same as I remember it (although the outside of the ride is different at each park). I love how the ride is timeless, and can remain the same and still be so good.

SWEEEET, me and my wife live 1.5 hours from the Magic Kingdom. We have the decals in our back window saying "My other car is a DoomBuggy."
We hit that ride along with space mountain every time we go. We recently bought the playing cards that have the Mansions wallpaper pattern on the back that glows in the dark.
Happy Anniversary, and good luck on that same day pace! I'ld opt for the 1-a-day pace though, less stress with the airport.
