ok so, here is what I have after days of mulling and sketching
(this may or may not become the base for them, depending on how many more changes I end up making)

• heart-shaped(y/n?) poofs in their ears that are a sixth sensory organ that help locate compatible Lovetwines
• curled pom-tail wraps around their Soul Sphere, keeping it safe
• (right) fin-like appendages that can raise and wrap around the tail for added protection(potentially able to become rigid and sharp at the ends)
• plantigrade paws(that, admittedly, I need to work on)

so what do you think of the added/altered features? got any tips or ideas that could still further improve them?
