I want an alien for Christmas
Bring me an alien this year.
That old song came around again, prolly my favorite Christmas song. I really did want an alien when I was 8, also a hovercar, so here's to that idea of yore. It's funny how Zeph fits the lyrics to this song so well. It was meant to be.
Happy generic multi-faith holidaytimes to all. :D

The technology has been around since the 50s (same with the hoverboards seen in the future era segment: they were invented in 1946 and taken off the market for safety reasons).
The problem with hovercars is that too many people can't safely drive regular cars. Take them airborne and you have all the problems of a plane crash and none of the training and responsibility of a pilot.
Hovercars don't exist because the only method to keep them restricted to people that can responsibly operate them is to require a pilot's license, and at that point you might as well just have a private airplane.

Oddly, i'd never heard of that song before. I alternate between enjoying and despising Christmas music, mainly because i was raised Jewish and we have about four or five decent holiday songs (and almost no holiday episodes of cartoons). Still, i love the warm feelings of xmas-time. Zeph looks adorable! I love the toeclaws.
