I have a new Symbiote... We call ourselves, AGENT VENOM.
After many months of talk of wanting to make my own Agent Venom costume, I finally have.
Costume consists of:
- Hood= Made from a black stretchy T-shirt. I cut out the "eye" pattern from a white T-shirt and sewed black mesh to them prior to sewing them to the hood.
- Chest Armour w/ attached Shoulder Pads: Made from a thick yoga matt cut out to the shape of a sleeveless T-shirt, I sewed coated spandex onto them, and in turn, glued a foam spider pattern onto it. The spider was drawn from a stencil sketch I had printed from my computer. There are adjustable straps on the sides that allow the wearer to tighten/ loosen for easy wearing. Shoulder pads were made in the same process.
- Under- shirt= Is just a plain black stretchy Under Armor- like, long-sleeve shirt.
- Pants: Are black Nurses scrubs.
- Shin and Arm pads: Purchased on Ebay for $14. These are just bike protective gear pieces. The spikes on both them and the shoulder pads are made of the same yoga matt foam, cut into triangular shapes, painted black, and hot glued into place.
- Gun= Purchased at the local Goodwill store during "Halloween season" for $3. It was originally a highlighter green color... I just painted it with some Gun-Metal silver spray paint.
- Belt= A Kenneth Cole Reaction leather belt, worn with several types of phone and camera holders.
- Gloves= Purchased at Goodwill for $2, these were originally Darth Vader gloves. Some Werewolf claws were hot glued onto them, painted over with black nail polish.
- Boots= Demonia Boots purahsed at Goodwill for $10. These were bought brand new, with but only a scuff on the front of one of the shoes.
So yup... been getting a lot of positive comments of how legit the costume came out. I plan on making an alternate hood with teeth and a tongue to go with the outfit.
