Cari Ignis is a Water Belly. Hybrid of dragon and Wolf.
Water Belly subspecies, have a major portion of their torso replaced with water substance like organ. This organ functions as most internal organs would. Digestive systems, waste, etc.
Along side this Water Bellies are born with a symbiotic fish. The fish just like the child its self is random and grows into its own species through its own DNA. In Cari's case her Symbiotic fish is a SunFish named Cookie.
The symbiotic fish aids the Water Belly by cleaning the watery sections, along with cleaning the fish aids with digestion, consuming the lesser valued nutrients leaving only the best for the host species.
If a female Water Belly ends up pregnant the Symbiotic fish ends up altering its form into that of a mermaid, allowing the fish-now mermaid aid in various actions including helping tend to the child while it is in the womb, and out of the womb.
Along side all of this, a Water Belly with enough practice can form their watery sections into a semi hard form allowing them to use their watery tail much like an extra limb.
