Having such coarse hoof fingers of course means that Carla has poor dexterity, but that doesn't bother her. In an anthro world tools would be modified to allow people like her to get by just fine. Here we see Carla taking some time to tend to her hooves and keep them in good shape. Her file has a semi-rigid handle that she can put one hoof through and hold onto the file with. It's just one example of simple ways people like her use technology to function just as well as someone with finer dexterity
