Hiddson: Hello and once again welcome to Bandits Breakdown! Your one stop shop for all things Las Vegas Bandits! Brett Hiddson along with Terrence Thursday, Issabelle Holt at Bandit Valley as the Bandits take on the team they visited in the preseason, the Abilene Lancers. Hopefully this won't be as low scoring as “3-0” though, Terry.
Thursday: Spoiler Alert folks, more than 3 points will be scored. *chuckles*
Hiddson: *chuckles with him* And we have the highlights to prove it.

Hiddson: But first a moment to recognize and honor as every stadium is, with tribute to Paris, France. Sylvester Stapler Carrying the French Flag to the field, and a moment of silence for the lives lost on that Friday night... Lancers coming off a tough loss to the previously win-less Downriver Waves, but still anything can happen, like this drive. Robert Goady drops back to pass tries to step up but sacked by Jetty Abrahams, the catfish rookie, showing off his strength. 3rd and 14 after the 6 yard loss.. Goady avoids a sack and throws it Stan Patton, the wily duiker wide receiver. Hopper would get a tall task to take on the veteran of 17 seasons.
Thursday: You're right Brett, Patton such a savvy player and showing it by getting a few tricks past the rookie hare to keep the drive alive for the Lancers.
Hiddson: Despite another sack this time from Ricardo McLeod, Goady still bounces back on third and goal. *Lancers Broadcast* “3rd and goal from the 12... Goady play fakes, looking for Patton.. Oh! Touchdown Lancers! Patton spins right by Hopper to get the inside route for the score!” That from our friends at KWAL Radio for the Lancers fans as the vet once again shows off a trick on the rookie. But thankfully for Bandit fans they would respond. 3rd and two from the 44, Stapler with a play fake to Paige, and finds R.V.A. downfield... caught! And off to the races and the safety cant catch him in time! Touchdown Desert Desperadoes! 7-7 all after one quarter.
Thursday: Nice fake by Stapler, one of the best at selling it to defenses and making them bite, notice the safety freeze long enough for Stapler to bomb it by to RVA and it was a foot race with RVA winning out.
Hiddson: Indeed and in the second quarter it would be the start of a long day for the Lancers. Goady... hit as soon as he finished the play fake for the sack but the ball is loose! Logan Jackman dives for it first and huge pileup... refs break it up and Jackman recovers it!
Thursday: Fantastic timing by Ricardo there the O-Line had practically no chance to get a good block from a well timed jump when the ball was snapped and Goady was doomed before he knew it.
Hiddson: Bandits love moments like this cause then they usually get moments like this, easy 4 yard touchdown for Terry Paige on the ground, 14-7 Bandits! And it gets better as Paige's rushing has baited the defense yet again for RVA to feast on this time a 34 yard grab on 3rd and 5 to keep the drive going. Leading to goal line situation and Stephen Harris, with the touchdown grab! 21-7 Bandits.
Thursday: Lancers in real trouble and if they don't get the stop in the second half, Brett.
Hiddson: And right about here is where Lancer fans might want to look away if they weren't before. Blaine Vernon getting in on the fun and gets his second touchdown on the season this time on the ground. Add yet another goal line touchdown and the Bandits got 35 unanswered points after the Lancers get the opening 7, Terry.
Thursday: Just outright domination from the Bandits from both sides of the ball, and not letting special teams get any action either to get anything going. Stapler wasn't perfect as those I.n.t. bugs crawled up again with two interceptions to end the third.
Hiddson: Fourth Quarter action And Coach Erinia subbing in Andre Williams now, curious or not so curious decision. We had Issabelle Holt ask about it.
Erinia: Just giving Stapler a bit of a rest since the game looks out of reach, and to check with him about those two picks, he knows he needs to clean that part of his game up. But A time like this is a good time to see what we have in Williams to keep him on his toes...
Hiddson: And wasn't the cleanest start for him as throws an Interception, to Dan Tipton, the umbrella -ella -ella bird. And he would return it 53 yards setting up the Lancers in prime field position. Finally taking advantage and getting a touchdown 14-35 Bandits still lead. Andre with a second chance and he takes it. 1st and 10 from the 25 Williams Play fakes to Vernon, and Finds Renato Hanna on the corner route for the touchdown and that would be the final. 42-14 Bandits win! A team win all around, Terry.
Thursday: Great win. Offense scoring the points they need and then some to put it out of reach. Defense though they didn't force turnovers, did make 3 and outs and force punts, taking care of business this week.
Hiddson: Indeed so... now we'll take a short break but when we return stats from this weeks game, interviews and pressers, and a look at next weeks big game against the New York Titans.
