I tried dealing with my terrible artblock since summer (actually I still can't draw freely) but I wanted to try a different approach with coming over it. When I have artblock I tend to go over tumblr and pixiv and cry while watching my favourite artists make such gorgeous artworks, full of idea and smooth rendering or just a simple sketch that looks pretty neat. So instead of crying over them I tried to imitate their style and see if I could actually learn something new.
Even though I thought about it I tried this method yesterday, just after I watched Tangled for like twenty times and I wanted to draw long and twisted hair so SO badly. And I immediately went through Loish's gallery.
So here's a little tribute to Loish! I love how she make color choices so accurately and she draws the most beautiful girls on earth <3
