This is apparently a common trait for bears and I did not know this. After all, rats don't really get fatter in the winter, we just scurry into our homes and eat off our nut stash.
SOOO, I get to cuddle up against a teddy bear for a few months every year!! How cool is that!?
He's already pretty cuddly to begin with, but he's especially huggable around this time of year. x3
Also, the fact that he keeps denying his chubbiness is just adorable, at least to me it it. >w<
