I've finally finished the final touches on my fursuit. I'm pretty much satisfied with it. Just need to patch up things here and there, but for the most part I like it ^_^. I also played with the idea of wearing my black karate uniform, and I quite like the idea. Thanks a million to my friends
zip-the-fox and
glowsheep for helping me out on my fursuit. I really appreciate it ^_^

bigotry and people claiming to follow the precepts of Christ and being unaccepting of anything that wasn't EXACTLY what they, as a person, not as a member of the church, believed to be correct. I was told by a Bishop, not mine, that told me I was going to hell if I didn't stop drawing anthropomorphic art because it's a horrible sin that existed in Soddem and Gamorrah...probably spelled those wrong...meh! I also got 'herded' out of a Relief Society activity because I wore pajama pants and not a skirt. I was pregnant at the time. It was a Stake activity, and it wasn't the members of my ward that 'escorted' me out. But that pretty much shattered my spirit for several months. I still consider myself to be Mormon, but I've also embraced quite a bit of Wicca as well. The 'love everyone, no matter who or what they are.' bit of it. It's amazing how loving and accepting I've found Wiccans to be. I've got my own blend of Faith in Jesus, and love of the World around me. Don't know where it fits in religion wise, I'm sure that most LDS people would consider me an apostate because of my current beliefs, but I just don't understand how they can say "God loves everyone!...Oh, except for you and you, cause you're not what He wants you to be!" Who are we to say that one person/demographic of people, are not what God wants them to be? Didn't he send us here to learn and be happy? Well there are a lot of people that are happy with different things, and what makes one person doesn't make EVERYBODY happy, that's just asinine!
Oh dear, you got me on my soapbox now! :P

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I've heard of cases like that, and it's really sad when people misunderstand and jump to conclusions like that. I wish there was a little more understanding when it comes to certain things like that.
I hope you will give it another chance though. I know that there is more to the church than just the people, but of course the choice is all yours.
For the record I think you are a wonderful person with a great family. You seem to be someone who follows the precepts of the gospel. The way you treated your daughter was so touching, it made me want to have experiences like that with my future family ^_^ *wags*

Pleased to be an 'inspiration' for you. Flattered and humbled. And I haven't cut ties with the church completely, I still see visiting teachers and such, I go to church when my anxiety isn't through the roof. But I'm more passive than most saints I've met. I have friends from all walks of life, I love people, when their not being stupid!
