Meet Celeste "Sanny" the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel!
Irresistibly soft ears and fur, and puppy dog eyes that will melt your heart <3
I've gone back to my first fursona, and she's changed a lot, but is still as cute as ever!
I'm learning 3d, so I can design better backgrounds too *wags tail*

I'm not a fan of what you've done with mixing 3D for the background, honestly. I absolutely love her, though. The perspective is about as perfect as I can imagine, and her features are so adorably soft yet exagerated just enough to really show off some personaility.
I don't usually care for this sort of stuff, because it usually comes across as that lifeless 'pin-up girl' look, but you breathed life into her like a genuine model. Great job.
EDIT: Just wanted to mention, also, that the amber is quite striking. It sets off with the overall lighting scheme very nicely, giving her a sort of "autumn" look even in what appears to be a summer scene. I, of course, mean that in the most positive sense.

Yes it's hard to mix completely different things together and get a perfect result! Personally I think it turned out a lot better than I thought it would, and I did paint over quite a bit of the background; The window and windowsill, the sofa, the table, and edited the colours and lighting too, so it's not all solid 3d work! But I still may try painting over some backgrounds entirely to make it blend in better!
It's a huge time saver for me though, as I often get stuck on backgrounds as I can't draw them to save my life!
Thank you very much! I too don't care for pin-ups for the same reason as you, and so I wanted this image to feel like you're really there with this cute girl, who's smiling not at a camera, but at you!
As for the amber, thank you! I'm a huge fan of Autumn colours, and wanted to reflect that in her colour scheme! I'm glad it works so well in the scene :)

Haha, wow, I almost feel like I got inside your head there. I'm not blessed with artistic talent, but I fancy myself to have a keen eye for it. It's nice to know that I can pick out an artist's intentions like that, because it's those things that make art great.
Nothing worse, in my opinion, than soul-less art. I know that not every piece an artist does can have their heart poured into it, but the #1 reason I stop following an artist is when I can see they've stopped putting themselves into it at all.
