In the last few weeks I've been experimenting at making my own origami paper, and this particular try turned out pretty well. It took some trial and error to get it right, and I still need to practice, but since this one came out so well, I figured I would fold something with it.
If you look closely at the wing, you can see the wrinkles that formed while I was making it. I would try to get rid of them, but it's difficult. Besides, I think it looks nice. It gives it some texture.
