So uh~ ... I don't play LoL, so don't ask.
Spent my weekend at a friends' place just shutting down and enjoying not having to do anything. This took shape as an idea in my head after digging up character lore on Kindred, after I'd seen their wonderful character portrait and I immediately fell in love with them.
There's a great many things I like about them; their design, their purity, the contrasted and complementary character traits between the serenity of lamb and the vicious feralness of wolf and his playful savage unified in their purpose ... I could go on and on gushing about just how interesting I find them on how many levels.
Fact is, their entire philosophy reminded me very much of what I had in mind while creating Tobur's true, in-depth character. I figure he's very much like what lamb would be, had she only wolf's teeth to work with, but I'll let you guys be the judge of that as Forest Tails continues.
The idea of this picture I guess is exactly what it says int he title. A meeting of characters who have a likeminded understanding of the way the world works and while Tobur is not the grim reaper, he's played the role of one for many a creature in his long lifetime.
Anyway, just me rambling philosophical. In the end it's just me dropping another character crush of mine out there for those who are interested <.< off to sleep, then back to work ...

Never played LoL, but these characters look awesome. And for some reason when I was looking at wolf, I could imagine small, slow movements to be accompanied with the soft creak of wood, like floorboards settling or something.
Random thing that popped into my mind, but eh, art is supposed to stir little things like that. ^v^

Yeah Kindred is a really cool pair. If you pay close attention they make some interesting choices in the yin/yang break - Lamb, the kind death, is calm and fact-oriented, but doesn't really show much ability for emotion. Wolf, the harsh death, is the only one that shows emotion, he always says "I feel" to Lamb's "I know" and explains things to Lamb in terms of emotion, even seeming to have explain things like sadness to her. I dunno, Kindred strikes a cool cord with me.
Yeah, they do a wonderfully harsh duality play, where they are two sides of the same coin. I also just love their heir of absolute finality. They don't question anything about themselves or what they do or to whom they do it in what way. A marked quarry comes down. All that's left is the choice of which one gets the tally.
