
So I'm going to open commissions for winter badges. This is my first YCH thing and I'm going to do them in batches of 2 at a time as to not overwhelm myself.
This YCH is going to be worth 10$ USD.
If you want to tip me more, that's your call, but base price is 10.
Each badge will be fully coloured unless other wise requested to be left blank~! I can also leave the name tag blank if you wanna write your characters name yourself. It would be far neater then the example provided because that was one I made for myself and Treble just has messy writing. uvu
RULES:
*First come, first serve.
*Absolutely NO NSFW reference sheets. Consider this is a head shot and tail/wings badge, it should be fairly easy to provide a SFW reference.
*I reserve the right to deny anyone's commission. If I believe you're design is too complicated or you are being rude, pushy, demanding, or have broken a rule, I have the right to deny your commission.
*While WIP shots will be shown with watermarks, finished product will NOT be sent until payment is received.
*I would prefer to be paid AFTER I finish the line art so if I have to cancel someone's commission for any reason, I can do so without having to send out a refund transfer.
*I DON'T DO DEADLINES. I will work as quickly as possible minding work or events I have to attend, but deadlines make me very anxious. Sorry, it's just a personal thing.

Well, when printed out, the difference between 72ppi and 300ppi is minor, but you definitely can tell close up.
But it's really my mistake, I didn't tell you that I'll be printing it! I'm just a bit demanding on commissions, because I want it to be the best it can be!
And also pixels/inch isn't very meaningful unless the physical resolution is fixed...

There is zero difference in what you set in the art program! (Most of the time.) Think of it as a note about what the ppi is supposed to be.
What actually matters is the physical size you decide to print it out. So if you have a 900 pixel wide file, and print it at 3 inches, that makes it 300ppi when printed out! But if you print it at 9 inches, it becomes 100ppi.
The ppi setting in your art program is useful, in that you can work with the physical size when drawing, and not length in pixels. Some programs will also use the ppi setting as a hint, to set the physical size when printing (but you can usually override it).
Computer screens nowadays are around 96 ppi: that means if you have a drawing zoomed at 100%, 96 pixels will be an inch wide. Laptop screens might go much higher (mine is 1920x1080 on 14 inch, so around 150ppi). Mobile phone screens are often over 300 ppi.
There is also a difference between pixels per inch, which is for screens, and dots per inch (dpi), which is for inkjet printers. To mix colors, printers print a pattern of dots, and it takes many dots to represent the color of one pixel.
