Five Nights with Bonnie and Foxy
By: EliteKnight
Chapter 17:
Everyone looked at the scene, not sure how to react to the sad reunion.
Frits gently rubbed Freddy's back, his eyes scanning over the animatronic bear carefully.
The group sat there in silence. Bonnie had a mix of shock and sympathy on her face, she hadn't seen Freddy cry since the accident. Mike and Chica looked just as shocked. Foxy looked away nervously, awkwardly shifting his weight.
"I thought...I..didn't know..what had happened…" Freddy spoke out, his voice cracking slightly. "What happened? Where did you go?" He continued, bringing his eyes up to meet Fritz's, tears flowing slowly.
Fritz frowned slightly, the Freddy he knew had become tough, calculated and commanding, what had happened? He knew part of the story, but what else was missing? What caused him to change so drastically?
"I have been in many places, unfortunately, I have not been able to come back. I was forced to find new job, after what happened here." Fritz said solemnly. "Boss said I was not to come back, and that all the others were to be let go. I did not leave by choice."
"I understand, a lot had happened after..Im so sorry...you both meant everything to me...I didn't mean to do it. I...I thought I was protecting everyone." Freddy said, tears still streaming from his eyes. "At least one of you, is still here." He finished, pulling out of the embrace.
After the small exchange of words, the room fell silent again for a moment.
"What happens now?" Fritz said, looking around at everybody.
"Yeah...yeah i'm sure everythings fine and dandy, you know, i have no idea, but it seems that way." Mike said from across the room, slightly annoyed. "Were all good now? Not trying to kill each other for no reason now right?"
Freddy looked over at Mike sternly, to which he frowned back.
"You guards caused all this, and you know it!" Freddy shouted angrily from across the room.
Mike looked at Freddy in disbelief, becoming angry himself.
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? I just got here the other day! How could I possibly have done anything to offend you! I haven't even really spoken to you untill now!" Mike shouted back, his eyes narrowing.
"One of you killed them! I saw it with my own eyes!" Freddy said back, staring down Mike.
"Killed who!?" Mike asked, not believing his ears. "Actually, you know what, if you saw all this, then why didn't you stop them! Huh? If you witnessed that why didn't you keep it from happening! Obviously you could have, considering you've been chasing me around for the past day!" Mike continued, growing more irritated.
Freddy paused, the look of hatred draining from his face, replaced with shock.
"I….couldn't." He said slowly, looking down.
Mike paused only for a moment. "Why not?"
"Because I wasn't allowed to go outside, and I was too afraid to do anything, and the second time, I wasn't expecting it." Freddy admitted.
"But that doesn't explain why you would be chasing me! If you saw who did it, just report him to the managers or something." Mike said.
"I can't!" Freddy said back sharply. "After it happened, someone swiped parts of my memories, and i can't remember who did it, and i can't talk to the owner anymore because he only comes in the daytime, and they deactivate us before the day begins. We are stuck here alone, only to reactivate at night when everyone has left. We can't even fulfill our purpose, and it's all that guards fault. Since I can't remember who it was, they all have to be destroyed." Freddy told him.
"Thats stupid! Thats the worst plan I have ever heard! Have you ever considered talking to one of the nightguards? Maybe getting them to help instead of murdering them? Also haven't you ever thought that you might have the wrong person? You could be killing innocent people!" Mike told Freddy, trying to reason with him.
"I have to make sure that the guard never hurts anybody again!" Freddy quickly retorted.
"By killing all of them off!? That's defeating the very purpose of your mission, you're just becoming the thing you strive to destroy!" Mike argued. "You know what, I tried to help you, if you hadn't noticed, I had turned your program back so that you could be on during the day, and it was because I was asked. But if you want to run a fool's errand and not listen to reason, then you can do it to someone else." Mike ranted, growing mader with each word.
Mike huffed as he finished his sentence, and rubbed his forehead once before storming off out of the kitchen.
Foxy looked around unsurly, before slowly making his way over to the door to follow Mike. His ears lowered as he felt all the eyes in the room switch their attention to him. He whined quietly as he proceeded past the doors.
"I seems...I've missed quite a bit. Tell me what happened, after I left." Frits said slowly as he turned to face Freddy.
….
Mike burst through the double doors of the kitchen, and walked hastily into the main room of the building. His heart was racing, he had been chased by that animatronic only moments before, and now it was blaming him for….Murders? He had been afraid that saying any of what he had said to that thing would cause it to try and attack him again, but surprisingly it didn't. At least Fritz had calmed it down some.
"I can't stand to stay in this place anymore." Mike said to himself.
He started to walk back down the hallway leading to the office again, this time at a brisk pace. He reached down and grabbed his keys when he reached the door. Sighing, he stood back up and looked into the destroyed office. He remembered when this had all started.
"It had seemed so mundane at the time. How could it have come to this?" He thought.
He walked into the office, doing his best to avoid the broken glass on the floor. He began to gather his belonging, placing them into a bag. After about a minute, he had put away all his stuff. Turning around, he gingerly strolled out, rounding the corner right into Foxy.
"Hey, uh get ready, yah? We gotta head out in a few moments, so grab anything you want to bring with." Mike told Foxy, patting him on the shoulder once reassuringly.
Quickly, he moved past Foxy and started towards the front door.
Foxy was a little worried. Were they going to be gone for long? Where were they going? What would he do when they got there? Questions flooded his mind, and the unknown scared him. All of this was happening so fast.
He went to do what Mike had said, running down the hallway until he made it into the main room. He sprinted over to pirate's cove, and jumped up onto the stage. He walked onto his little ship that he had spent those long years in. Even though it had become a place of loneliness, it still made him smile. Remembering the times he had been up there entertaining the kids, pretending to be a swashbuckling pirate, and handing out medals and pizza to those who could endure win his hide'n'seek challenges. He would miss this place. Gathering what little belongings he had, which consisted of a spare set of pants, a couple old medals and a long forgotten puppet of himself, which belonged to a dear friend he could no longer remember, he set out to meet up again with Mike.
Foxy casually made his way down the stage. He hopped down into the main room, and took one last look around. He noted the state of the place, the current disrepair mixed with the destruction of the last day caused him to become concerned. What would the owner of the place think when he got here? Would everyone be put away just like the other before?
"Maybe….Maybe I should bring someone with…But...they haven't talked to me...they left me alone...I should leave them alone.." Foxy thought to himself unsurly. "Well...Bonnie was nice...but she didn't come by often...only sometimes..maybe her?
Foxy slowed his pace as he began to debate with himself. He eventually made it to the front door, where Mike was standing with his face in the corner next to the door. Mike turned around, his face covered in red marks where his skin had pressed into the wall.
"You ready? I sure am. I cant wait to get out of this place. I'll go dig my truck out of the snow. Make sure you're ready though, say all your last goodbyes and stuff now, because I don't plan on coming back here." Mike mumbled out tiredly.
"Not yet, I have something else to do." Foxy told him, before putting his stuff on the floor next to the door.
"Alright, i'll be outside then." He responded.
Foxy turned tail and walked back to the kitchen doors. He look in cautiously through the window. The group inside were talking, with their backs facing him. Freddy seemed to do most of the explaining, while the others would interject for only a moment. Luckily for him, Bonnie was the closest person to the door. If he was fast enough, they probably wouldn't even notice he came in.
Stealthily, he propped his hand against the door, with a quick nudge he pushed it open slightly. The speed of the movement almost silenced the squeak of the door, leaving only a quick creak that was barely noticeable. Keeping one hand on the door to keep it from moving, he reached his hook hand out and latched it onto Bonnie's shoulder. She jumped slightly once he had touched her. Slowly he reeled her over, thankful that she decided to play along and try to move as inconspicuously as possible. She made it over to him, and he unlatched his hook. Gently he moved the two of them outside of the kitchen, gently closing the door behind them.
"What going on? Do you need me?" Bonnie asked, confused as to why she was dragged out of the discussion.
"Well. Mike wants to go now, since Fritz is here. And I thought...maybe...you could come with us." Foxy said shyly.
