Loop is chasing after Strief, they had been friends but had fallen out through the war and Loop was trying to save him but Strief didn't want to be saved and ended up falling into the abyss and Loop into Aether. This was the last time they saw each other, Loop is now friends with another dutchie he met named Bosley but sometimes he still thinks of Strief.
Strief on the other hand is more than happy where he is, he has no interest in leaving to even visit Aether or Terra.
