A pomme d'amour is the french word for Toffee Apple, and that can be translated with Apple of Love.
A Bûche is a Genoise cake rolled and filled with classic French-style chocolate buttercream and usually garnished with meringue mushrooms to make a traditional Christmas log.

superbe pièce, ma chère. y'a comme un sentiment de fraîcheur dans c'dessin. et d'autant qu'c'est assez détaillé au niveau du décor. maintenant qu'on m'la dit, je peux voir que t'inclut humains et furries dans l'même tableau. c'est, en effet, un bon mélange. et en plus c'est bien d'apprendre aux Anglophones les noms des délices de la France (et un peu d'français aussi).
cependant, j'peux pas t'fêter un "merry snowmas" parceque y'a pas d'neige sous les Tropiques. lol

Mon univers (ou tout du moins dans cette partie de la saga) inclut effectivement des Furrys avec des humains. Précisément, les furrys y sont très nettement sous-représentés pour des besoins scénaristiques que je n'ai pas encore dévoilé ici ^^'

Ce n'est pas vraiment anodin que j'appelle ca Snowmas plutôt que Christmas. Ce n'est pas que je ne crois plus en Noël, mais il s'agit plutôt d'un abandon inconscient de sa vocation première, la naissance du Mec, the One.
J'en avais déjà fait un petit plaidoyer dans le dessin de l'année dernière, mais cette année je suis resté plutôt neutre, à me concentrer sur le paysage enneigée et quelques artifices...

I was very close to add a long talk about the origins of those festivities, but I feeled that it wasn't the time for a chat about religion... I'm just that bitter actually =_='

It's all spread unfortunately.
Let's say that Vanessa is his best friend, but he feeled something for her years ago, even to the point he claimed to love her. She refused for some reasons and she now regrets that, specially now that he's involved with Bothan.
Bothan is well-known for being his love, and him for being her.
Daji seems to be quite jealous, but that's not that obvious...

I've written stories, but in french unfortunately, and my skills in english are way too poor to translate the novels correctly. I tried for one chapter which can be seen in my gallery but since I'm sorta kind I'll give you the link to the poorly translated version of that chapter : Coeur battant (beating heart) =P
I'm sure your skills with english way exceed my skills with french even with a dictionary handy, I'll have to give it a look-see though and you could always find someone to help clean things up for the english translations since you do quite the fine job with the text you add to the pics. Don't be so self-conscious about it after all I've seen worse from people who's native or only language is english. You put them to shame. ;)
*awws and gives a comforting hug* Sorry to hear that, especially over something that shouldn't have been such a problem. Well I'll be sure to chat with you often then so you can practice your english with me. My french may be mostly nonexistent but at least I won't give you trouble if there are misunderstandings.
