I'm curious. What sewing machine do you use?

I have quite a few, haha. My industrial needs servicing currently so most of the time lately we've been using regular domestic machines. My two favorites are both all metal 1970s/1980s era Baycrest machines. Not a fan of newer plastic machines.

Ooo they sound awesome. Might have to look into them. Getting really tired of sewing every tail I make by hand haha.

I usually just troll through thrift stores and buy ones that are priced well ($20-$40 or so) and have the settings I require. Then I use them until they need servicing, as they do from regular use every year or so. If I'm impressed with it I'll pay the $80-$100 for the servicing and keep it, if I'm not impressed with it then I'll give it back to a thrift store and move on to my next one. It's a bit of a weird system, but it works for me. :P We're always running at least two machines at the same time, so I need to have spares around anyways for when the usual ones go in to get serviced.
