Is the fur on the back of the head Monkey Shag? I tried to find the pink Shag and nobody has it. I think people snagged it up, because they were smart :( I have a pink werewolf character that has a floofy mane and some "Inuyasha"-side locks that come down from behind his ears and the pink was the perfect length and "Flow" to look like long hair, without using kanekalon or NFT or something. :(
I have a question, I'm sorry to bother or take up your time. In your experience, is Kanekalon for a mane, bangs, hair or tail, hard to take care of and a tedious medium to use for fur or hair? My fursona has so much floofy mane and hair, like HUGE floofy mane and I don't know how I would clean the suit if I use kanekalon, which is the only option I think I can afford, at this point, if I make her myself. Can you sew in wefts? Gosh, that would be tedious. However, I don't know if the kanekalon would be the exact same consistency or bounciness if it got wet and it dried over and over, again :( Hair spray?

I used gorilla shag and sparkle fur for the mane. The trick is to lay the fur pile in the opposite direction so it falls and creates lots more volume! I personally try to avoid wefting when I can. Fake hair tends to tangle horrendously and its a pain to brush, let alone clean. For thick manes you should use kanekalon, but for hairstyles try finding a cosplay wig that looks similar, order two and splice them together. That's what I did for the Lion head I just did.
Mmkay. Like, I want her mane to be extremely floofy and flowy to match the concept art. On paper her man is that voluminous, but I want to be realistic because a physical suit might not be able to handle nor would it be practical to have a costume with that big of a built in mane. All the same I want that big mane, its her trademark.
So, you are saying kanekalon tangles, easily, right? If I want length or "Standing hair" that supports itself in place, I should mend the kanekalon to a Pillow-shape of what I want the hair to sit as when completely covered, right?
I have yet to use a wig, but I might try to figure out a small project I can do to experiment with that before something like that is requested of me in the future :)
