The first of hopefully many entries in my Veruzekin Living Costumes series.
Simply put an race of alien symbiotic life forms capable of mimicking clothing and transforming their host have set up an agreement with Earth where a select group of people are allowed to host Veruzekin individuals to help them get familiar with Earth culture.
This is a sample sequence of my characters Fredrick Greene and Niv A' Zek bonding; a standard $20 3-step transformation. More examples and info to come but note me if you're interested.

Yes but it's not a permanent fusion, and the consciousness are still separate, though they are able to read each others thoughts to allow for natural body movements and such. Veruzekins can unbind at any time if they feel threatened or the human tries to use them for illegal activities.
