You always have to be careful when your hoof nails ARE your fingers. Can't let just anyone make such drastic changes to your dexterity. Try and cheap out and you'll eventually have to start picking things up with your teeth as you wait for them to grow back. They could even grow back wrong and take all sorts of work to fix!

Thankfully Belatrix is very experienced and enjoys doing farrier work in her free time. She always takes extra care when trimming someones hands.
