It is my tank vixen Ivona stragunov, a commander of a T34-85 who alongside with some shocktroops and guards infantry are storming the last line of defense into germany from the eastern front; The Seelowheigts.
This battle would mark the beginning of the end of the fascist regime that was Nazi Germany that had plagued europe for half a decade during world war 2.
This commission is also in memory of the russian female tankists that fought and died to give us the freedom we have today.

After the brutal fight with a Tiger 1 heavy tank, the lightly damaged T34-85 rolled up closer to the german trenches. Recieving a hailstorm of bullets from heavy machine gun fire. Desperate germans trying to postone the inevitable.
The periscopes and viewports of the turrethatch was damaged, making it almost impossible for Ivona to get a clear view of the battle outside. Bravely but foolishly, she popped open the turret hatch and stuck her head out. Looking over the massive battle she found herself in, smelling the scent of smoke, dirt, death, blood and iron.
A foul stench indeed, but it is what must be conquered to achieve victory. She barked out her orders as loud as she could to the russian troops below her, but the roar of the T34's diesel engines made it difficult for them to hear. But sticking her head out of the turret hatch made her an obvious targets for the desperate Germans, so she cant keep herself exposed for too long. Luckily the red army troops kept the germans surpressed in their trenches so the volume of incoming gunfire became lowered.
Using only the turret hatch as cover, she looked around quickly to find a good target for the tanks main gun, the 85mm ZiS-S-53 cannon.

i love this piece, its so awesome and well made you can already hear the russian troops scream their warcry (URA).
