you're getting a lot better with proportions and coloring, though, if I may say one thing, it's that the eyes are too small
for perspective, I laid the two images over one another in photoshop and lined up the heads as best I could: http://i.imgur.com/nPLWVDj.png
other than that, the uniformly thick lines around the eyes make it seem a bit more... creepy, rather than happy. but aside from those two things, this looks really nice! keep up the good work!
