So there is a glitch that my tablet has where it's pen pressure drops out completely and the only fix seems to be to restart my PC completely. *sighs*. Any ideas why that happens?

What tablet is that? I think it's probably easier if you just restart the tablet's driver.
Windows-button+r => type services.msc => Wacom professional service (I got an Intuos Pro, it might say something else if your case) => Right click and select stop. Then right click agan and choose start
