Birth of a Lizard walking Sprite
As there aren't really lizard sprites for me to alter to begin with, I decided to make it from scratch. I'm aiming for a dragon-type sprite in the end, but I figure it'd be best to start with something a bit more simplistic.
I'll need to put some thought in how I want to go about creating sprites in general to save on time and to make it easier to animate.

Roughly, that is my current process. I drew in what I wanted, shrunk it down to the level at which I wanted to draw the pixels over top, and what you see is the final result.
Though what I'm thinking about is having the legs animated separately from the upper body so that for example one could walk while holding something, without having to redo the whole thing.
