There was always something magical about evenings in the fall. Leaves really didn't change much in the state, so we relied on something else to give tourists a view, the sunsets. It was something to behold. As it descends down below the pink puffy clouds, the final glimpse of the orange rays blanket the land in a soft and warm glow. You feel the temperature drop as the sun does, low enough to leave the windows open at night without fear of the heat stuffing up your house. As the day grows old and the night grows young, I love nothing more than to sit out there and strum the sun away as I wait for the cool night to begin. Then, after it's all finished, I retreat back inside to settle into the night with a little blues and maybe some drawing or reading. And with that, I make the perfect evening.
