Meet Hope!
Hope was driving along a mountain road one evening when she was sideswiped by another driver going way too fast the opposite direction, sending her careening down an embankment. The bastard just kept driving, leaving Hope alone at the bottom of the cliff, crushed under her crumpled vehicle.
Fortunately, she was found by a family of friendly mouse engineers! Her car had crushed their home (they all got out in time), but they were only worried about the dying girl lying in the wreckage. They saved her life, salvaging what parts of her body they could and building her a new body out of machines they already had and scrap metal from her car. Hope survived, but with a body more machine than animal.
Hope and the mice made a deal: they would stay with her and help keep her new body maintained, and in return, she would become their new home. The mice live inside her, acting as the “crew” for her new body, keeping it running while they enjoy the protection that comes from living with something large enough to keep other predators away.
Hope’s life is different now, of course; she occasionally has to eat metal or drink oil, to provide the crew with the materials they need for her body’s upkeep. But she’s glad to still be alive, and feels forever indebted to the little family of mice that saved her life.
These characters are still a WIP, and I’ll probably still be tweaking them a bit.
I wasn't sure what category this should go in. It's not really vore, more like endo, I guess?

I did a few very loose sketches of it here, but Hope's throat runs directly into a "sifting chamber" that can be opened or closed by the crew. When open, the chamber is a slick glass tube that drops straight into the stomach. When closed, there's a metal grate that blocks it, as well as a series of nets. They keep it closed most of the time, and after Hope eats, they'll go through whatever is in there and pick out some things for themselves before opening the chamber and dropping the rest to be digested. When a crew member is entering Hope, they just slide down her throat and drop into the nets! (They make sure to always keep it closed if anyone is outside Hope, because they don't want any accidents happening.)
Thank you so much! That's a great compliment, you've made my night! ^///^ I sometimes worry that my writing style is "too plain" -- I'm not good at big, flowery descriptions of things. I tend to describe things simply and clinically. But that can work sometimes!
The only story about them I can think of off the top of my head is Biofuel. I feel like I've written at least one other, but I can't find it, so I could be imagining things.

Ah, alright. Your welcome and thank you ^^ I'll give it a read soon. I don't think your writing style's plain... in fact, you put a lot of emotion behind some of your characters, it's just the details that you seem to be missing on in some cases. But I'm not a writer so I don't really know how that goes ^^;
Think you might make some more stories about Hope? I hope you do (intended and non-intended pun XD)
