Hey guys, I've been fairly absent for a bit, but it's partially because I've got a new project that I'm working on. Who likes text based games like Corruption of Champions or Nimin? I've really enjoyed playing those games and they got me wanting to try my hand at making one, so to start off, here's a potential map for the game.
Pronunciation for that word is "Leeb eden," "liebe" being German for "love" and "eden" cause paradise. Of course the name may change with time.
Anyway, let me know what you think! Feel free to give input on what you might like to see in a game like this, I have big plans for it!

Love such games! Try to make your own. But there are many alpha projects like this, that stay unfinished forever, unfortunately. Because, I think, people underestimate the amount of work needed. My advices as from professional programmer - first, decide what kind of game exactly it's going to be. A strategy? Rpg? Visual novel? Or something really close to original CoC? Don't spend too much time on the engine, there are already tons of them around. Just take the one that's closest to your idea (maybe you can even take the source of CoC and fill it out with your content?). Then focus on the story. Most of such games just lack a good plot. Make it solid and finished before adding anything else, but leave some space for future extension. Don't think about art too much in the beginning, it can be the last thing to add.
