Fresh air is nice, but snow isn't. Nalle decided to simply stare outside from the door.

Awww ^^ mine's blue too :3 http://i.imgur.com/W1w1OSR.jpg names Mica, typical name for cat in Slovakia ^^
No. Krinkles is right. They are evil. Leave a glass of water near the edge of the table. See how long it takes for it to get pawed onto the floor. XD Seriously though, I adore my kitties. Koe is nicknamed Nekomata - "Demon cat" in japanese. Of course, My cranky Calico pride-and-joy is just named Neko. A name you clearly know the name of Neko-Maya! Plus there's Tamello, or "Tamo", named for Tamello de Formello Tussock, the main protagonist of Brian Jacques' The Long Patrol, who we call Mr. Diesel Purr, because his purr is loud, and whistles like a turbocharged diesel engine, and Tiberius, a.k.a. Tiber, Ty-Ty, or Squooshy. the latter-most name comes from his really squishy body, cuz he's fat. We call him "Basketball Eater" too, cause he kinda looks like he swallowed a basketball when he sits.
For the 23 years I've lived, I've never seen a cat purposely knock anything off a table. That's some kind of a meme and not reality. Instead cats avoid stepping or knocking anything as they walk, and it's amazing how they can walk elegantly across a table full of stuff and pass through without a sound!
Also I don't go by that name anymore. neko is a finnish boy's name - maya refered to my interest to mayan indians 10 years ago (margays live in the same area as mayans did, which was the species of my fursona back then). But it was all a terrible joke my friends gave me, and I never grew to like it.

I know decently about maine coon (have one), russian blue (since people always ask about nalle, looked it up properly) and norweigan forest cats since there's a lot of scams for them in finland (basically people sell long haired house cats without the register booklet for 'half the price' and then people claim their cats as those and it's annoying, I like to call them out) and then others I vaguely know a bit about are ragdoll, korat, devon rex, sphynx, siamise, bengal and siberian cat.
my friend had a Bengal, and my mate had Ragdoll's. I am getting him a Ragdoll when i get my Abyssinian. And I love the looks of Maine Coon's and Norweigan Forest Cats. put the two right next to eachother and i dont think i will be abble to tell the two apart. ... I think the Norweigan is bigger when fully grown if im remembering right. but i think i would be able to tell a domestic long hair apart from the two, fully grown though. but i wouldn't bet my life on this nolage. lol
Maine coon is bigger - being the biggest cat breed. Maine coon have a long rectangular body and a long tail - where as norw. forest cats have a moderate body length with puffier coat making them look kinda wide, tail is also shorter but with more fluff again. Norw. forest cats have a short muscular neck with much more fluff than coons, coons have a longer neck. Maine coon eyes are round, owl-like while norw. forest cats have almond shaped, kinda curious looking eyes. Maine coon usually have taller ears and lynx tufts.
Best way to tell them quickly apart is the body length and eyes.

Well according to resent statistics done in USA, which I looked up lately. 60% of people consider themselves 'a dog person' and 11% 'a cat person', rest neither or both. It's sad.
Although on a happy side, they noticed a very close relation to scoring well in intelligent tests and being a cat person \o/

lol but ya it is kinda sad but also isn't there a poll done or something that there might me more homes with dogs but there are more cats in homes. .... I think im wording this wrong. All i remember is hearing something on Animal Planet about there single dog per houshold and being more spread in like town or something, but every cat owner has more then one cat. will the dog owners tend to have just one dog. .... something like that. im not wording this right i know that for sure
You're correct with that, I've read the same. Two cats is the minimum and there's no max as long as you have space and resources to care for all~ :3
It's interesting tho, dogs are supposed to be the pack animals where as cats are thought to be independent. Yet cats are much happier to have other cats to company them but dogs will fight for the attention - exceptions aside of course.

lol that reminds me of the lady i babysit for. her two dogs fight for the attention, and if it wasn't for her one cat dying her othercat would be really happy, now he is trying to get all the attention from anyone who will give it to him. ... I kinda think that yes Cats are more independent, but they also have a scence of companionship. and if you have to go out to work its better for the cat to have another for that companionship. Dogs being a pack they have to fight for there rank in the pack. so ya they might seem more active any hyper and fun, but with the pack if you have the two unless there personalitys cancal eachother out they are going to fight for affection
Yes, the same happened to my cat as well, we had two when I was a kid (one was my mom's and other was mine) and when the other cat disappeared my cat's personality and behavior changed rather dramatically. He became very needy for company, begun to scream at every single night (he would stop right when someone come to him and then he would purr loudly as usual) and didn't really go too far outside anymore - sometimes it even seemed to me that he was depressed (animals can suffer from depression).
Before he used to really care for the other cat, my moms cat was more independent, didn't show the affection as directly in washes and mice presents, but you could sometimes notice him coming to find you and make sure you were okay.

Aws D:
I've grown with them, probably wouldn't be the same if I didn't. I was pretty lonely when I was a kid so I spent a lot of time with my cats instead - and they'd comfort me when I was feeling sad. Cats were a huge part of inspiring me to draw properly, so I could portray their amazing figure and show people through art how amazing they are. Could only live two months without a cat when I moved away from my parents place. Nalle came first and now Tupsu - if we get a bigger house sometime in the future there's probably gonna be a third too ^^;

Gorgeous cat and I had a cat where he would sit behind the front door when it was wide open and peak through the gap. Where his brother we had to watch him because he would blot for the door if he had the chance.
And when it came to sitting in the windows. Midnight (he's the one that like to sit behind an open door.) would so between the blinds and the window while his brother Smoky (he the one that would try to bolt out the door) would sit on the window seal with the blinds between him and the window. So whenever people asked about what their personality were like, my reply was that they're a Yin-Yang
