Here is the first of a pair of 'fan art' pieces with a character from yet another webcomic I enjoy reading from time to time...
"Newshounds" is the ongoing story of a group of talking pound animals who are given the opportunity to work for a cable news station with a shoestring budget. Besides the usual canine characters (e.g. 'Renata', 'Wolfram', et al), among other members of the KPET ensemble are 'Alistair' the cat (a reluctant weather forecaster, who would rather speak his mind out on political matters) and 'Ferris' the rat (hired as a janitor, but hoping to have a news segment - if not a show - of his own).
This piece of 'fan art' revolves around 'Rob Cat' giving 'Ferris' a Rorshach Test - revealing the rat's fixation with a well-known show biz personality (which became a running gag during the course of the early years of "Newshounds" strips). I base this gag on a similar scene in an old rerun of "Get Smart" with Don Adams.
