Meet Elliott (what we call him named after the one antlered small deer from open season!) the one antlered 2 point small buck really want this one love his color and he will have sweet meat! nice young one.
i head out on friday for him and a doe some pigs and yotes. wish me luck
this is taken on a ranch i hunt at to help out the ranch and the cattle. i get sweet meat and land i can hunt white tail deer, yotes, wild pigs, squirrle, duck, turkey, goose, rabbit, even black bear. woot woot and i help a friend out.
I have tags for one antlered and one antleredless. btw to those that don't know me, I cant eat most foods (mostly fatty foods) so beef and other farm animals with high fat content makes me super ill thanks to a bad galblader cant digest too mush fat so what i eat a lot of is birds and goat, and i hunt for food to lest me the year. Deer is the largest animal I can go out a get cheaply and can eat. and yes i use every part of the animal, i eat orgens and meat even the eyes the other parts like the bones/hooves/antlers are turned into tools and suplise like knives and buttons door handles ect. the insinue is used in my taxidermy projects, and i use the hide for native troditional ware, masks, clothing, blankets, for the seats of chairs, and mounts to decorate the house what I cant use is given to feed my pets or given to ppl that want it. I hunt to eat not for profit or trophies. but I do kill a trophy I will mount it. but meat first.

older bucks are for trophies the older they are the worst they taist, the younger or the does tast sweet it depends what you hunt for sport or food i hunt for food. so looking for sweet meat and if you want more sweet meat you do for the big does. once a buck is huge you can only really eat like a small bit thats not really gamy but if you like that tast then have at it!
the thing above him is a sweet corn feeder has a timer on it that it will go off when we hunt down the there so they start a pattern and know when to come eat. it also helps you flover the meet, and the cam lets me know who eats there the most and when so i know who i want. and i pick him and this huge doe i have had my eye on for 2 years.

sweet whole corn, and we plant turnups and persimense trees and clovers. they love it. idk if they are pregnet i dont watch them breed. but yest there is a 8 point buck and a 10 point but they are smart and dont go in the open till after dark when you cant hunt. and there is a huge doe i have my eye on for 2 years now. my bow needs to be fixed after a comptition so this year is muzzle loder
