Commission for Nicodemus
Current commission I am working on. This is the under painting done in grey scale colors. I am about to add the colors via Grisaille (Glazing). This is a work in progress, and is not complete. Some details will be added after the glazing. I am thinking of glazing in oils, while it would make for better glazing, I am out of varnish, and need a few colors I do not have at the moment. Acrylic glazes work but are not ideal, or as smooth, but I have all the colors, and varnish for the Acrylics. *Shrug*
Medium: Acrylic on Masonite
Size: 11" x 14"
Date: Nov 2015.
Enjoy *Grin*

Geeze, so realistic looking! And so detailed! Even if you stopped right here, this would be an amazing work of art!
If you don't mind, wuff is going to point this out over on FACCC. There are a LOT of cookin' furries that would absolutely adore this!

Did you ever paint in egg tempera? I remember the pictures that my BF showed me of the great Leonardo did with that medium.
It would have been amazing to see what Leonardo would have doe with anthros, sadly the only one I know who did such works was Jacob Jordens, in his beautiful mythological satyrs
and mmm...ratatouille niçoise :) I made this once for a GF, and when I told her what it was, she thought it was made with real mice! (giggles)
