(Oh, never mind. Maybe my monitor(an old 1028x764 CRT on an AMD R7 240 GPU) is making this look more grainy and unrefined that it actually appears.)

It actually extended the life of my old PC when installed. For example, BioShock wouldn't register Machine Gun recoil animations on the old one, but the new one most certainly did. It also greatly improved the detail.
