“why not?” “it’s too dangerous.” “no it’s not.” “I’m not argueing with you, I said no and that’s final.” “you care more about your work than you do me!” I said running out of the room, bumping into mom and a few other people before reaching my room. my name is anders, I’m a ten year old boy living in the middle of nowhere, and my family are Pokémon breeders. My father never talks to me and when I ask him if I can go on my journey he tells me it’s too dangerous, this time I’ve had enough. After filling my pack with clothes and anything else I might need I slipped my trainers card into my pocket, the one thing he let me get. looking around to see if anyone was there and slipped out the window.

“what am I going to do with him?” sam asked his wife sarah walked in to the nursery room. “why did anders run into me crying, again! he asked again didn’t he?” “yea, doesn’t he get there are a lot of people who would take advantage of this place? it’s our responsibility to keep it hidden.” She was eating her lunch trying her best not to loose the small bit of composer she had left. “Listen if you don’t let him go he’s going to leave on his own and never come back, is that what you want?” she sighed as he simply cept working, this wasn’t the same man she married ten years ago. after he became the head of the jhoto starter breeders he’s been more worried about work then them. she just sighed and left him to try to calm anders down before he did something rash.

It was quiet as I slipped through the forest that hid the two story building. I felt slightly bad but if I didn’t do this then I would never be able to leave. as I reached the Cliffside I smiled looking out over the jhoto region. When I took a few steps forword however the plato fell out from under my feet. I had my eyes shut tight waiting but instead of hard ground I landed on something soft. I opened one of my eyes to see a white dragon looking pokemon staring at me. I recodnized it from one of the stories mom had told me of unova a while back, reshiram. when it’s head moved closer I curled up and stared crying. “what’s wrong?” it was a female voiced and just as soft as the feathers I was sitting on. it gave me a sense of safety as I looked at it’s puzzled face then around the cave I fell in.

When I found out it wasn’t going to hurt me I asked it if it could help me out of the cave. “sure but where did you come from, I came up here to get away from trainers.” I told her I wasn’t a trainer yet and I explained everything about myself. “oh I see, I understand your feelings but you should go back.” “not you too!” I said crying, “why doesn’t anyone ever listen to how I feel.” I said sobbing, it put one of it’s wings over me and tried to clam me down. “shshsh, I’m sorry if I said something wrong, it’s just. You have a family, do you really want to give it all up?” I looked at it silently wondering if it had heard anything I said a minute ago.

I had spent the rest of the day listening to reshiram tell me about unova. I was listening when a loud adiouble yawn escaped my mouth. “sleepy?” I nodded asking if it was ok if I slept on her back. “sure sweaty.” I curled up aginst the soft feathers on her back. once I was comfy I felt something wet on my back. I opened my eyes just in time to see her scoop me up in her mouth, she was eating me! I kicked and thrashed but nothing worked. If anything I think she was enjoying it because she was purring. After I was covered from head to toe in saliva I felt her tong move to a slant and her throat get a tight grip on me. I had to stop screaming to avoid getting saliva in my mouth as my head was pulled in. the throat wasn’t very tight but I still couldn’t move a lot. Everything got tighter for a momen then I fell in a pool of clear liquid. It didn’t burn but I was still scared and crying. I felt her rub her belly, “shshsh it’s ok, I’m not going to hurt you I promise. Just go to sleep and when you wake up you’ll be out and safe.” I was scared but if she wanted to hurt us we could have been roasted me when I landed on her tail. As I fell into sleep I felt her moving.

After she felt him settle and fall asleep she smiled, he was actually kind of good tasting. Getting to her feet and stretching she headed for the cave entrance and headed towards the building he described. She was a minute away when she noticed a pigeot flying in a searching manor over the woods. Looking more closely there was a woman on its back. The boy had described his mother in great detail and this one looked exactly like he had described. “he couldn’t have gone far.” Sarah said to her pigeot who nodded picking up the pace. They had been flying all day and so far had little success. As they began nearing the edge of the area she noticed a shadow pass over them. she looked up in horror to see a reshiram suspend itself in front of them. strangely it didn’t attack it just flew towards the building landing out front. landing it had it’s face covered by it’s wings, opening them she found her boy laying on the ground in front of it.

As I woke up I wasn’t in the rashiran’s belly but rather my own bed. It must have brought me back here after I fell asleep. “Why?” I asked myself as I go up. “anders!” I was suddenly hugged tightly by my mother who was crying. I must have worried her a lot for her to be crying. I didn’t say anything as she sat down on the bed and handed me something. it was a blue pokedex, “my father gave it to me and now I’m giving it to you. also you and I are moving to violate city.” I was about to ask why when my father burst into the room. after an argument I noticed my mom smack him across the face. “Were done, now get out!” apparently mom had enough of my father and have been arguing about it sense I was found. When he refused mom called out her acranine who never liked him in the first place and made him leave. “Fine.” He said scowling on his way out. “oh I do have a surprise for you.” she made a small whistle and I noticed a charmander run into the room. “char?” I asked mom if she was mine and she nodded. it jumped onto my lap and licked me lovingly. I remembered reshiram and asked mom if it was still here, “yep sleeping out front.” The two of us walked outside just as she was waking up.

Mother thanked her and she smiled at me. “Oh I forgot I need to start packing.” Mother said running back into the building. I told reshiram what happened, “that’s great.” I asked her if she had a name but she shook her head. sense we didn’t have a whole lot my mom was done packing and outside by nightfall. I was talking with reshiram when mom told me she was ready to get going. I was about to slide off the dragon and say goodbye when she blocked me with one of her wings. “Where do you think you’re going.” I was about to ask what she was up to when mom got on. reshiram and her locked eyes and nodded at one another just before she took to the air. I was hugging her neck tightly scared half out of my wits, with both her and mom laughing at me. “not funny!”

When we reached the city reshiram dropped us off on the edge of the woods and asked me to meet her there tomorrow. “sure.” She dealt me a big lick and flew off. it was late when we finished unpacking and I was exhausted. Collapsing on my bed I noticed charmander tug on my sleeve, “char?” I smiled at the little lizard that ran off and came back with a strange bracelet. “for me?” “char!” it said holding a blue stone up and nodding as it jumped onto my bed and fell asleep next to me.

I was so excited when I beat the gym leader, as me and blaze left the building I noticed something land a bit out from town. both of us ran out there but didn’t find anything. just as I was going to head back everything turned dark. I was about to flip out when I felt the purring around me. after I was jostled around and soaked I was deposited into the stomach along with blaze. “reshiam?” “yep.” I calmed down and got comfy. After a bit I asked her what she was up too. “well, I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind having me along, I won’t fight for you, not yet but I want to see where your going to go.” I gave her a raised eyebrow and asked if that was the only reason. she was purring an awful lot when she ate me. she gave her belly a nuzzle, “you tell me.”
