My Christmas / New Year / holiday season picture for 2008 - I might have missed Christmas, but at least I got it done before the end of the year Thanks to 
Gildedtongue for the picture concept!
I was thinking about putting into the background a Christmas tree and a bundle of presents by the stool, but it was a case of doing that or getting my 2008 Christmas pic posted before 2009. So instead I used the "Sparks" brush in GIMP to add a bit of a festive feel to it. I'm very happy with the way the highlights on Super Collie's hair turned out, and the gradient background looks uncannily like a beach which is nice...
