CatMonkShiro - Family Time 3
Here is the final picture in the trio celebrating my wife and I's fourteenth anniversary (Aug 2014). Took a little bit longer than expected, but for reasons outside of anyone's control. huge thanks to
catmonkshiro for all three of these wonderful and heartwarming pieces.
Here at last, with my little girl in my arms, are we now truly what we have always hoped to be, a Family!
And to warm everyone's heart further, my little girl, on seeing this picture, said, "Mommy! Daddy! Angie!" Yes, she recognized us all as Rats.

Well, one way or another it's a good design. I've been getting into character creation for the sake of cartoons and comics and if you read my last journal I explain the importance of making character designs for comics and cartoons simple for the sake of the artist having to redraw them so many times. Your Darknatasha drawing works well for a single full body portrait but for a comic this would be a better design for you.
I had read your last journal (finally got around to replying to it), and definitely agree that simpler design choices are important in that case. Since I only really write stories and never do illustration, I haven't really been thinking in terms of comic-design for my character; ironically, I ended up with a cameo character in "At Arms Length" and the design there is even simpler than this.

I've shown up in two of the arcs, the first was serious and I played a leading role:

The second was a silly cross-over with "Addictive Science" and I'm only in a handful of shots:

"At Arms Length" is an excuse to indulge in multi-furry antics but its written by an old friend from the TSA so that's how I got a cameo.
