With few exceptions, I do nothing to alter the image files that I download from my camera. When I do, it’s nothing more than a crop, or a slight change in brightness and/or contrast.
Not long ago,
FurrSymphony and I were chatting about the techniques he uses to enhance his photographs. I love the vivid and bright colors in his pictures, especially his landscapes. When he offered to work some of his magic on a few of my photos, I couldn’t resist seeing what he might do with them.
Here, then is the “FurrSymphonized” version of my Apollo’s Probe. In this particular example, the red, blue, and yellow really pop. Notice, for instance, the yellow lettering on the probe itself, just right of center, near the bottom of the frame. Compare this to the original photo HERE
I think it’s important to recognize that Symphony didn’t change any of the colors. This is basically a tweak of things like brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color levels to bring out hidden details.
