Lunaris Parukia, Great Spatial Lunar God of Matter (Concept)
First, just let me say this char is NOT representative as me. Rather, I named my username after this char I actually created years ago. 'Cuz the name sounded sweet =P
Just mentioning it before someone thinks I have a massive ego xP
( Though I did throw in some references to the fact I'm an artist in the char ^w^; )
Lunaris is one of the three Gods that created the universe.
Whereas Solaris gave life and Stellaris (better known as Polaris) gave creation, Lunaris designed everything in the world, and gave the world cohesion.
Without Lunaris, nothing would've been solid or visible.
Lunaris seems to be the wisest of the three gods.
He knows a great deal about the universe, and loves everything that lives.
He sees the potential of the anthros as something that progresses their species.
As such, he's allowing full freedom of the species.
Fascinated by the mortal mind, he seems to understand even those who have chaotic ideals.
According to Lunaris, mortals are free to choose their own path, rather than being bound to some kind of divine will.
He firmly believes that eventually, mortals will reach the absolute truth and do what's truly right.
Polaris does not understand Lunaris, however.
He thinks that gods are being meant to be worshipped, and mortals should just follow their will, as they're not capable to form their own paths.
However, even Polaris understands that the universe can't function without the combined effort of the three gods, so he simply tolerates Lunaris' ways.
Solaris appears to understand Lunaris somewhat, and is willing to try out his ways, despite having ideals of his own.
Despite being referred to as male and his feminine appearance, Lunaris lacks a true physical form as a result of not really being part of the universe, and thus is genderless.
However, if desired, he can assume any gender, and even knows many different forms.
The pictured appearance is his most prominent appearance.
In this state, his body is entirely composed of a divine, crystalized, golden light, save for his tails.
He has four tails that shine in not only every color of the spectrum, but also colors that don't even exist in this world.
He can use these tails as some sort of celestial brush to give form to any and every creation.
He also created DNA to make it easier for him to design every living being.
It is implied that there are beings living on an even higher tier of existence than these gods.
However, even the three gods can only theorize they exist, let alone have any control over these beings named "Formless".
For example, Death is thought to be a Formless, and it's influence over the mortal realm is what inspired some to come up with this theory.
Much like the other two gods, the design of Lunaris is based on a glyph or a rune, to make him appear as something "out of this world", yet trying to give him somewhat of a humanoid shape.
(Spoiler: His design was very hard to come up with as a result. It was purely trial and error to see what worked and what didn't.)
His name comes from the Latin "Lunaris", meaning "Lunar", and "Parukia" is Palkia's Japanese name, which happens to be one of his avatars/forms.
Bonus trivia: His halo is what inspired my signature.
