Taro is the grandson of a now dead high-ranking yakuza. He was a disappointment to his parents since he was more concerned about electronics/computers than becoming a warrior. Fastforward to where he's crashes on a human's couch and never really leaves, even taking up the spare bedroom. They become shadowrunners and on their first cluster-fuck of a run things escalated quickly. Long story short, Taro earned his bloodlust and love of explosives (one instance there was a security guard booth that just ended up getting blown to bits with a guard inside).

Taro has sort of evolved rapidly from this like "literal internet troll" type into a quirky wannabe super-scientist who prefers cracking skulls melee style or using explosives to solve problems. Lol I actually often forget I have a decker's skillset. He recently got a used/old razorclaw he harvested from this enslaved gladiator minotaur. I'm very excited to see how he's going to evolve further and what he'll be capable of.
