Excerpt from "So Close, Yet So Far vol II"

Massak, tightens his hand on mine, and takes a few breaths. He then says “In all our time together I learned how much an amazing guy you are. I learned how reckless you are as you don’t hesitate to put your life on the line to save people.” I chuckle a bit at that comment and he goes on “You literally are amazing to my point of view with your behavior and the fact that you help people. I always wanted to do more to help you and now… I am finally allowed. Allowed to try to help you stay safe as you try for us. Spending eternity by your side through all adversities, with good and bad time… but a future together.”

I blush as I hear his vows and decide to let my heart talk for mines. “You say I saved all those people, but to me my family saved me. Having you into my arms, having you near me through eternity is something I would have never even dared to hope until now. Life by my side is not easy, but I swear to you that I will always protect you. You are my other half, the one I can’t go on without. You are the one that helps me with his kindness and his wise moments.” I hold his hand tighter before I add “I want to raise a family and grow old with you, by your side.”
